Adventure - My Final Film Evaluation
I set out to create a film using an expermental technique i had been researching. I have been using fisheye alot recently and had just made a little makeshift version out of a door peep hole and the end of a a film canister. I thought it might be interesting to see what its like using it to video. I found it really interesting to have a moving fisheye images rather than a single still images made into stop motion. Its not very good quality but i think that this adds to the effect of the film. I was influenced by the investigation into fisheye lenses and how they can be easily made quite cheaply. Im not the greatest film director so i decided to just use my every day life at school to film, so whenever i had the chance i would get the camera out and choose in interesting way to capture the images. This turned out pretty well and i put some of the images i captured together to create this short film. I chose this music because it fits with the film in terms of context. The most difficult part of this production was the editing it together, it took me ages to get it just the way i wanted it and the music in time. I would include a small title page and credits if i were to do it again becauase when i tried the first time it made the sound quality so bad it wasnt worth it. But if i had more time to perfect it i would put these in and figure out a way to make the sound qaulity better. Overall i am very pleased at how it all turned out and i will be sure to use this technique again as its pretty fun and always produces good results.
